Swim and climb at Bock Pool this summer!

The AquaClimb makes its debut this summer at Schaumburg Park District’s Bock Pool, 1223 W. Sharon Lane.

The 9-foot-high climbing wall gives kids the opportunity to climb to the top and splash into the pool. It’s a fun, easy way to stay active!

Bock Pool offers open swim daily. The pool also features a diving area and wading pool with a slide for children. Bock Pool daily use resident fee is $4 for youth and $5 for adults, and non-resident fee is $5 for youth and $6 for adults.

Schaumburg Park District offers a program to teach the basics of water polo to beginners ages 8 to 15. The game is exciting and fast-paced. There is never a dull moment! Classes will be held at Meineke Pool, 220 E. Weathersfield Way.

Learn tennis this summer at Schaumburg Park District

Tennis camps schaumburgYouth tennis camps are offered during the summer for ages 4 to 18 at Bock, Meineke and Timbercrest Parks and Schaumburg Tennis Plus. Camps are designed for beginning to advanced players and divided by age group. New camp sessions begin weekly.

Youth Tennis Camps for Ages 4-6: Camps are designed for the junior player. All classes will be taught using the new USTA 10 and Under teaching style. Classes are designed to develop athleticism, hand-eye coordination and movement skills in a non-competitive cooperative environment. This is a fun introduction to tennis.

Youth Tennis Camps for Ages 7-10: All camps will be taught using the new USTA 10 and Under teaching style. Players are grouped by ability and will learn all aspects of the game including technical strokes, keeping score, rallying and competing. Players will have the ability to play in USTA Play Days held monthly.

Middle School Tennis Camps: Camps are designed for the intermediate to advanced intermediate player. Players are grouped by ability and will learn all aspects of the game including technical strokes, keeping score, rallying and competing. Players will be given the opportunity to play team matches at the conclusion of the session.

STP High School Tennis Drill Program: Schaumburg Tennis Plus is offering a weekly summer program for players that play either JV or varsity high school travel team tennis. Players are grouped by ability. Classes include live ball drilling and match play. Players will compete daily in match situations.
